We are agroup of interested foodies from Packington who want to come together for anything food related.
Our aim is to provide resources for the village and where wanted, food nights.
All ages are very welcome to get involved and we hope it will encourage people to try different foods and improve their cookery skills.
We have an extensive list of equipment which is freely available to ALL in the village. It is all stored in the village hall kitchen so please contact the Food Group Secretary should you be interested in borrowing anything.
There is a small charge for organised events to cover the cost of the raw materials and kitchen rental.
We are not an outside catering company, we ask that everyone gets involved with the preperation, cooking of the food AND the clearing up
Past Events
Pasta Night - Everyone started with a bowl, flour and eggs which we made into fresh delicous pasta with sauces and salad.
French Night - We made Crepes and learnt about some fantasic frech wines
Pizza Night - We rolled our dough, selected the toppings and enjoyed the results.
