Village Approves Packington Post Magazine

Village votes OVERWHELMINGLY to keep your Packington Post

The results of the Parish Council survey into village attitudes to the Packington Post magazine were made public on Tuesday 13th April 2010 at the meeting of the Packington Parish Council.

Councillors and the public were shown the responses to the survey conducted in the village and on the web during March. 

 Strongly Disagree 4% - cyan / light blue

Disagree 3% - purple

Neither Agree or Disagree 6% - green

Agree 23% - red

Strongly Agree 64% - darker blue

 

Of 311 village residences, 126 households completed the survey either on paper or on the Parish Council's website, a return of over 40%.

Of those responding, an OVERWHELMING MAJORITY of 110 agreed or strongly agreed (blue and red in the above pie chart) that the Parish Council should keep on supporting the Packington Post - while only 9 disagreed (purple and cyan).

In these difficult times, the village seems to have now given a clear vote in favour of the parish Council's continued financial support of   your Packington Post!
